Has Zoner Photo Studio abandoned its forums?
Zoner Software, the Czech Republic software company, has been producing quality image software for more than a decade now. Their their latest photo editor — Zoner Photo Studio 14 Pro (and the slightly less powerful free version) has received much acclaim for its speed and innovation.
Zoner has a wonderfully designed website, clean and easy to navigate. Zoner Photo Studio is all over the Internet with a regularly updated blog, a small, but growing number of English-language instructional videos on YouTube, a web gallery for users to post images, and a presence on Facebook and Twitter. But what has happened to support for the Zoner User Forum?
First, Zoner makes it difficult — now apparently completely impossible — for users to post to the forum. Second, Zoner Software seems to be completely ignoring the forum. This no-activity forum looks very bad for potential and current customers looking for discussions of users experience with Zoner Photo Studio.
The last post in the forum for Zoner Photo Studio 14 Pro was made by Zoner Software employee Troy, who said he had to go through 560 posts to find three legitimate posts. In an earlier post, Troy said the site was having 237 spam message for every legitimate message, which slow their response rate.
Other photo editor companies seem to have forum software which will filter spam and allow legitimate users to post their messages to the forum in a timely manner. There’s no reason why the Zoner Photo Studio forums couldn’t operate in the same way.
The marketing folks at Zoner should be concerned about the message this sends to potential customers.

I deleted it off my PC. It constantly tried to connect to the internet with out my permission.
Agreed! If they want to be taken seriously they must resurrect the user forum.
